Our ideal candidate is a pharmacist with injection and APA certifications (or has the desire to obtain these certifications within a reasonable timeframe) who is interested in utilizing these credentials as part of our clinical services, as well as augment the dispensing process.
Our pharmacists often administer medications and vaccinations by injection, provide travel consults, order routine labs, and perform rapid antigen strep tests. The closest medical clinic and hospital is located in a neighboring community (Three Hills), and we have an excellent relationship with the prescribers there. However, as there is no medical clinic in our community, we have ample opportunities for minor ailments prescribing and chronic disease management as you feel appropriate.
Of course, practice experience in a community pharmacy is an asset, but new graduates are encouraged to apply!
Experience with the Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) Program is also considered an asset but is not required.

Must have experience driving a tandem or triaxle Manual truck, a fairly clean driving record, and a good work ethic. We work 5 days a week with the occasional Weekends.
